Understanding
An Adverb of Quantity shows or denotes how much or to what extent anything generally happens or takes place. Or, An Adverb of Quantity shows or indicates how much someone does a some thing.
· Example
- He dress was big enough for me.
- She's not experienced enough for this job.
- The coffee was too hot for me.
- The girl was very beautiful. (adjective)
- He worked very quickly. (adverb)
- He is entirely wrong. he doesn't quite know what she'll do after university.
- They are completely exhausted from the trip.
